Making a perfect cup of coffee is extremely rewarding. When I first saw people brewing amazing cups on Instagram I was curious to know how to brew one. It all comes down to which brew equipment should you buy first. It is not hard to find places offering high-quality brewing equipment. But it was extremely overwhelming to decide which type of filter should I use. Paper, metal, and cloth filters are the most common types of filters.
The first ever filter used to separate coffee from water was made up of cloth. This cloth filter was somewhat in the shape of a sock. Traditionally, people would pour hot water over ground coffee which was filtered using a cloth.
